Lavender Haven Bed and Breakfast has just two rooms available to guests, keeping your stay quiet and exclusive. Your comfort is our concern and for those who have had a busy day sightseeing or on business we appreciate that peace and tranquility will be important to you. The image on your right is of our twin bedded unit which has a full en-suite bathroom and an alcove with a sleeper couch for two children.
Our second bedroom is a large and comfortable room with a queen size double bed as shown in the image. It has a large en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and hand basin. Both rooms have their own private entrances and this double bedded room also enjoys a private outside veranda for that peaceful evening sundowner. Bedford has a large variety of bird life so you may just be disturbed by an evening songbird!
The guest lounge allows you to relax in comfort after that busy day. For those balmy summer evenings a large back veranda under grape vines offers the perfect spot to just sit and enjoy the evening with a cold drink or indulge in a barbecue. The lounge also has a wi-fi internet facility for those who wish to bring their lap top to keep in contact with the outside world.
The dining room at Lavender Haven Bed and Breakfast is ideal for elegant eating. Our large "lazy susan" always causes comment. We provide a full English cooked breakfast for those who require it plus a range of cereals, yoghurt and fruit in season. Breakfast includes our own home baked bread and a range of our home made jams and marmalades. Our filter coffee pot always provides a delicious aroma to tickle the taste buds. For those who would like it an evening meal is available. We will e mail you our dinner menu when you make an enquiry. Meals range from R40.00 upwards and are all home cooked.
At Lavender Haven we grow as many of our own vegetables as we can, so for those enjoying an eveniing meal you really will be able to experience that "just picked flavour". No chemical sprays or other such products are used in growing our crops which are all completely organic. A range of seedlings are sold to the public in the area.
Seeds for a range of vegetables, herbs and flowers are sold countrywide through the Bid or Buy Internet network.We pride ourselves in supplying fresh, vigorous seed at competitive prices.
We also make a range of Skin Care Products using natural ingredients such as Lavender oil from our own plants and Shea Butter. We also offer a variety of home made jams and marmalades.
